Window Cleaners

Window cleaning takes some effort on your part. You can make the task a little easier if you have the right window cleaning supplies to get the job done. Here are some examples of window cleaning tools that will come in very handy each time you decide to be a window cleaner for the day.

Window cleaning equipment is pretty basic, but it is a good idea to have what you need on hand before you ever begin your window cleaning. Among the tools you will need are window cleaning scrapers, window cleaning brushes, window cleaning t-bars, window cleaning squeegee rubbers, window cleaning squeegee handles, and window cleaning squeegee channels. If you plan on doing any high-rise window cleaning, such as to the second floor, you will also need to invest in one or more professional window cleaning ladders. These will often conform to shapes that will allow you a better shot at getting to a window that might be awkward to reach with a standard stepladder.

All this equipment may seem like overkill for anyone who thinks in terms of a bucket and a cloth with some Windex, but the fact is that you will be able to do a professional job in much less time, which means you can focus on other things and still have windows that are clean and streak free without having to use a lot of muscle to buff out the streaks.

When it comes to window cleaning products, some people like to go the simple route and use time honored recipes that are based on white vinegar and water. Other people prefer to go with a commercial window cleaner. Whichever your choice, make sure you have enough on hand to handle your window washing project without having to stop and go off in search of more supplies. By having your window cleaning supply on hand, you can move much more quickly with the project, and experience much less frustration as well.

When you decide to play window cleaner, you also want to pay attention to your clothing. Make sure you do not wear anything that can get caught on the ladder or will expose you to shrubs or growth that might scratch bare skin. Usually a comfortable long sleeved sweatshirt with jeans will do the trick. When it comes to footwear, you want something that is washable, such as deck shoes or tennis shoes. Make sure the tread on the shoe is not worn down to nothing if you are going to be up and down the ladder. You do not need to slip off the ladder and end up spending the weekend flat on your back. Also, keep all your supplies and products within easy reach, so that when you need them there is no time lost looking for anything. When you are done with the windows, gather up all your window cleaning paraphernalia and return it to your storage area. That way, you will be able to clean windows the next time without having to look for anything.
